A co-founder of the Southwestern Virginia Middle Eastern Dance Association, I created the e-mail group and website in 2001 and serve as its webmistress.
 

I fell in love with belly dance in 1997 and began studying it intensely in 2000, beginning with cabaret-style Middle Eastern dance, with the addition of American Tribal Style in 2002. Now I also have the joy of sharing my love of the dance by teaching.

Classes are held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at Art Pannonia in Blacksburg. The cost is $40/month; call Art Pannonia at (540) 552-0336 to sign up.
